In frames of the project, there will be held consultation meetings in the regions of Georgia for detection of success and challenges in the process of fulfilling 1325, 2016-2017 National Action plan and for making recommendations based on the work with target groups. Internally displaced and conflict effected women will be the target groups of the project. Also it is focused on these organizations which work on IDP rights, Women’s rights and gender equality; NGOs, academic circles, and representatives of the government offices – responsible for the action plan.

Shida Kartli is the first region hosting consultation meeting with the target groups. Women’s Information Center has a wide experience of monitoring process in various action plans. In 2016 the organization held and published third monitoring results of resolution 1325 2012-2015 action plan. The recommendations from the document are already included in 2016-2017 action plan.
