On 5 March, in Gori Center of Civic Engagement was conducted a training for case providers. Training aimed at study of case documentations and monitoring of results was held by Women’s Information Center, within the framework of the project “Women for Equality, Peace and Development”. Meeting was attended by project team and representatives of NGOs from Shida Kartli region.
Women’s Information Center has been using “one wondow shop” principle since 2010 in order to resolve problems of IDPs and conflict-affected persons. This was a first training for case providers under one window shop principle within the scope of 2nd phase of the project “Women for Equality, Peace and Development” that has started in 2013. 4 trainings in Shida Kartli, Kvemo Kartli, Imereti and Samegrelo regions are scheduled this year.
The last one window shop principle meeting was held in Gori in April 2013. This year it is scheduled in the end of March. At the round table beneficiaries themselves will speak with the government about the hardest cases. Project is being implemented by UN Women, in cooperation with Women’s Information Center and Taso Foundation, with the support of Norwegian Government
