On December 12 at 19:00, in Hostel "Fabrika" (Tbilisi, Egnate Ninoshvili st. #40) Women's Information Centre will hold a series of youth exhibitions and installations "ghosts" and "She". The project is within the 16 days campaign which is aimed to violence against women.

 

Exhibition-installation called "ghosts" will be presented in figures reflecting violence against women. Subjects include stereotypes, taboos and the problems that women have in general. The authors are Ani Tsikoridze and Elene Gundishvili.

 

Photo Exhibition "She" is combining two different series: visual and text installations. The author George Dundua worked with contemporary visual artist Murtaz Bolkvadze on this project. At the exhibition will have speech Deputy Public Defender Ekaterine Skhiladze.

 

The event is prepared with support of "Women`s information center", funded by the US State Department within the project - "Empowered Women for Peace and Development".
