On October 20, in Kvemo Kartli Tetritskaro municipality One Window Shop meeting was held. The aim of the meeting was to solve the problems of people living in village Tsintskaro, also for internally displaced families living in Tetritskaro settlement. Meeting was facilitated by Alexander Rusetski. 10 cases were discussed. Among them most important for the population were the issues of water supply, living conditions and healthcare.
Representatives of local municipality and Social Service Agency, as well as the those of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Internally Displaces Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia, attended the advisory meeting. Beneficiaries themselves also participated in the meeting and presented their problems.
Some of the problems needed complex approach and resolution of these problems is possible through joint efforts of several entities. Beneficiaries received individual consultation, to which ministry or entity they should refer for the solution of their problems. At the meeting it was agreed that the problem will be solved by joint effort of the population and relevant ministries.
Alexander Rusetski proposed to the decision makers to provide them with advices in case if they are interested, on how to plan and implement changes correctly. He also raised the issue of communication with the society; because it is important that population is better informed about their service.
One Window Shop meeting was conducted in the framework of the project “Women for Equality, Peace and Development”, implemented by UN Women, in cooperation with Women’s Information Center and Taso Foundation, with the support of Government of Norway.
