Women's Peacekeeping Award

Women's Information Center has initiated the Women's Peacekeeping Award. A bank account was opened in this regard. The award will be given to women who contributed to the conflict resolution and peace-building processes. The first prize will be awarded to Mrs. Manana Mebuke- leader of the Women's Peacekeeping Movement of Georgia, Head of the Union of Wives of Invalids and Lost Warriors. Women's Information Center urges the members of the civil society of Georgia: colleagues, friends and associates, as well as activists from different countries to support this initiative and contribute to the realization of this undertaking. Women's Information Center fully ensures that the process is transparent.

 

We count on your support. Together we will stress the importance of  women's role in the peace-building processes.
