Presenting the Law on Gender Equality

Official presentation of the Law on Gender Equality will be held in the Parliament of Georgia.

The attendees of the meeting will be members of the Parliament of Georgia as well as representatives of civil society, international organisations and diplomatic missions.

The Law on Gender Equality was adopted on March 26, 2010 and it accomplished the five years campaign that was carried out by the Gender Equality Advisory Council under the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia in cooperation with The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Media representatives are invited to attend presentation of the Law on Gender Equality on Tuesday, May 4, 14:00, Parliament Ilia Chavchavadze Hall.
