The minister of Refugees and Accommodation of Georgia Koba Subeliani holds meetings with the IDPs. Today the minister held a meeting with the IDPs from Abkhazia residing in the former dormitory of “multi-branch college” located on Marshal Gelovani Avenue. He inspected IDPs’ living conditions and answered their questions.

244 IDP families (695 persons) from Abkhazia live in 15 storey building. Most of the living spaces have been transferred to IDPs’ ownership. Individual meters were installed and the building was roofed.

The minister mentioned during a meeting with the IDPs that all IDPs who are looking forward to the privatization process will get the property: “this building is privatized, the road was fixed, and roof was repaired. Many more IDPs are looking forward to rehabilitation and privatization process. The same activities will take place everywhere. Our aim is to support each family. It is hard work but we will do our best.”

IDPs asked the minister to fix internal utility systems. The minister promised them that everything will be done step by step.
