Winners of the photo competition were awarded

The winners of the photo competition on IDP issues were awarded in the hotel “Courtyard Marriott”. The photo competition was held in the frames of the conference that took place in “Courtyard Marriott” on June 28-30, 2010 regarding the new directions of the state strategy action plan towards IDPs .

The photo competition was held on IDPs integration and development issues. The representatives from Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation of Georgia, EU, Danish Refugee Council and professional photographers were the members of the competition committee. They have received 65 photos from 12 authors. Among which 12 photos from 5 authors were selected and printed. The mentioned photos will be exhibited in the Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation of Georgia.

Designer Natia Zedelashvili took the first place in the photo competition who was awarded with 300 EUR value voucher in the shop “Photoworld”. The second winner (correspondent of the magazine “Tavisupali Dro”) Liza Osepashvili was awarded with 150 EUR voucher.

Above mentioned competition will be conducted again in the future. Printing and electronic media will be involved in the competition.
