IDPs attend internship courses in "UGT”

IDPs residing in Tserovani are attending internship courses in the leading company of informational technology UGT”. After the one month successful completion of the course IDPs will be employed by the companies. Internship courses were commenced today by the initiation of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia. The students who have successfully completed English and computer courses in Tserovani will attend the internship courses.

Nino Lomidze, Nona Chigoevi and Khatuna Basharuli are the first interns the president of company “UGT” Goga Chirakadze held a meeting. Nino Lomidze: “Employment is the serious problem of my generation and generally for the country. That’s why I need to put all my efforts to complete the internship courses successfully and to get a job in the company. I am very grateful for the people who gave such great chance to IDP youth.”

As per the president of the company, Goga Chirakadze’s statement the similar activities will take place in the future as well: “We plan to employ the successful students. Such event will take place again in the future; we would like it to be long-term activity. Accordingly the successful student will get employed by the company.”

IDPs received the presents from the company – Georgian “windows” established by themselves and other office programs, also the book “road to success”.
