On October 3, with the initative of Women’s Educational Center “Tori” “Borjomi City Festival” was held. Among the attendees were ethnic Greek children, living in the village Tsikhisjvari.In the framework of the project, 12 children together with their parents visited borjomi. The event was organized by WEC “Tori” in cooperation with Borjomi Puppet Theatre and Part of Mineral Waters.

At 12pm children attanded premiere of the performance “Tkhupnia”at the Borjomi Puppet Theatre. Prior to performance, the director of the theatre Mrs. Khatuna Tedoradze welcomed children and gave word to Metropolitan Seraphim, Archbishop of Borjomi and Bakuriani regions.  Metropolitan congrtulated children on Borjomi festival, blessed them and wished good luck.

After the performance children visited Borjomi Park of mineral waters for them attractions were free of charge. Representatives of WEC “Tori” took memorable photos of the day.

As Julieta Maisuradze, the head mistress of Tsikhisjvari public school mentioned: “Because of the hard economic condictions in Tsikhisjvari people cannot bring their children to Borjomi Park and theatre. It is important that children celebrated the memorable occasion with others and with help of WEC “Tori” this day became unforgetable for them.
