Minister Exemined Ongoing Rehabilitation Activities in Telavi

On 20 July, Dali Khomeriki visited IDPs affected by natural disaster in Telavi and examined the ongoing rehabilitation activities of the building. As per the Minister’s decision, IDPs’ opinions will be considered during the roofing process in order to ensure timely and quality restoration works. IDPs expressed their readiness to participate in the reconstruction activities.

The residents from their side expressed their satisfaction towards efficient response on their needs urgent from the Government’s side.

On 19 July, since evening the Ministry in cooperation with UNHCR has provided food aid and emergency items to the affected population. Distribution of food assistance is still ongoing.
