Action Plan for the Implementation of the State Strategy on IDPs

Revision of the Action Plan for the Implementation of the State Strategy on IDPs took place at the meeting with the NGO sector held in the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia. The meeting was also attended by the Women's Information Center.


Ministry’s plans regarding the construction of residential buildings, as well as criteria for allocation of living spaces were discussed at the meeting. Valerie Kopaleishvili responded to questions regarding the issues of IDPs and stressed the future priorities of the ministry. He also noted the important role of NGOs involvement in the documentation development processes and solution of the critical issues.
