National Forensics Bureau – We don’t Issue Virginity ID cards

Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau doesn’t issue any virginity ID cards, National Forensics Bureau informed InterPressNews.

“National Forensics Bureau conducts over 450 examinations and issues appropriate qualified reports on the basis of address from physical and legal entities, also investigative bodies and court. The Forensics bureau doesn’t issue virginity ID cards. The investigative bodies, to find out sex crimes and/or other violence, apply the forensics service for an objective investigation”, the statement says.

Following the National Forensics Bureau, it is judicial-medical research and the report doesn’t include information about virginity as it is beyond competency of the court-medical research.

According to the statement, there were several cases when adolescent addressed the bureau for the aforesaid service and it’s beyond the competency of the bureau to know the aim of the research.

The statement says that the Imedi TV report was not ordered by the National Forensics Bureau. Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau doesn’t understand the launched campaign against it.
