Emna Mansour Wants to Be First Female President in Tunisia

Emna Mansour, chairwoman of Tunisia's Democratic Movement of Building and Reforms, announced Feb. 24 that she will be running for presidency, Tunisie Numerique (French) reported. In an interview given to the radio station Mosaique FM, Mansour criticized the lack of women in top positions. "Women are still marginalized," she said, adding that she is working towards improving the visibility of women in high functions.
