Women’s Information Center holds a presentation of the project “Women as agents for change and empowerment”

Women’s Information Center, with the support of US Agency for International Development (USAID), is starting implementation of the project “Women as agents for change and empowerment”. Presentation of the project will be held in Tbilisi Marriott Hotel. Meeting is aimed at introducing project’s main objectives and scheduled activities to the representatives of State agencies, political parties, international and non-governmental organizations, academic circles and media.

Project will be presented by representatives of Women’s Information Center, Taso Foundation, and Association of Young Economists of Georgia.

About the project “Women as agents for change and empowerment”

Project is being implemented by Women’s Information Center, with the support of US Agency for International Development (USAID), and in cooperation with Taso Foundation, Association of Young Economists of Georgia, and Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR), in Tbilisi, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Kakheti, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Imereti and Gali regions. The project is aimed at promoting women’s political participation and political and economical empowerment by mobilizing community, and based on research of local needs in target regions.
