Women’s Information Center (WIC) is making a vacancy announcement for the position of Project Coordinator. Project is aimed at enhancing institutional mechanisms in Shida Kartli, Kakheti and Mtskheta-mtianeti and promoting development of the Coalition for Women’s Political Participation.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• drawing up and implementation of strategic plan for project development
• Preparing, implementing and controlling activities planned within the framework of the project
• Assisting project director
• Coordinated work with international and non-governmental organizations, state institutions and political parties
• Preparing quarterly, annual and final reports and presenting to donor
• Planning meetings, trainings and seminars
• Participating in coordination meetings
• Make presentations about the project to target groups
• Preparing tender proposals necessary for the project
• Communicating with media
Key requirements:
• Higher education, preferably master’s degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, International Relationships, or law;
• Minimum three years of experience in project management
• Knowledge of context of self-governance
• Knowledge in gender equality
• Knowledge in women’s political participation
• Strong command of the English language (knowledge of Russian will be an asset)
• Ability to travel in regions of Georgia or abroad
