Presentation of the Research on Gender Evaluation

Gender Equality Council of the Parliament of Georgia, World Vision and Women’s Information Center are holding a presentation of the research on gender evaluation. Research is carried out by Elene Rusetskaia, the Head of Women’s Information Center, in the framework of the project “Strong Women Strong Integration”.

 

Research covers gender-related situation in Georgia and reviews various fields in terms of gender, such as civil society groups related to gender issues, political engagement and governance, gender and media, supremacy of the law, distribution of roles, healthcare, education, labour market, business and entrepreneurship, agriculture, etc. Research also contains discussion of mutually conditioning issues: violence against women, human trafficking and vulnerable groups.

 

Project “Strong Women Strong Integration” is implemented with financial support of World Vision Austria and Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).
