Women’s Information Center is holding a training for teachers and upper class students

Women’s Information Center is holding a training within the framework of the project “Women for Equality, Peace and Development” for teachers and upper class students from two villages of Marneuli district – Dashtafa and Aghmamedlo. The main topic of the training is gender and CEDAW Convention.

 

Training is aimed at raising awareness of participants on gender equality, human rights and CEDAW Convention, and increasing their gender sensitivity.

 

About the project “Women for Equality, Peace and Development in Georgia”
Project is being implemented by UN Women in cooperation with Women’s Information Center and Taso Foundation. Project is being implemented with the support of Norwegian government. Project is aimed at support of IDP, conflict affected and national minority women groups, civil society and government, and empowering their possibilities in terms of gender equality and women’s rights protection in Georgia.
