Women's Information Center (WIC)'s project Women as Agents for Change and Empowerment closed with award ceremony on January 21, 2016 at Zurab Tsereteli MoMa Tbilisi.
In their speeches US Ambassador to Georgia HE Ian Kelly, Vice Speaker of Parliament Manana Kobakhidze, Head of Central Election Commission of Georgia Tamar Zhvania, Deputy Minister of Justice Gocha Lortkipanidze, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lia Gigauri and other invited guests emphasized the importance of the project.
Director of WIC Elene Rusetskaia expressed her gratitude towards the ministries, state institutions, local and international NGOs, political parties for their support.

Rusetskaia expressed special gratitude towards the USAID/Georgia and especially Tamar Sirbiladze as well as the entire team of the WACE project, in particular the project coordinator Maiko Grdzelishvili for successful implementation of the project.
WIC wants to express gratitude towards its four partner organizations:TASO Foundation, Association of Young Economists of Georgia, IWPR Georgia and Gali based organization for their great merit.
Leader women, youth groups, student-volunteers, local officials, community resource centers, agricultural cooperatives received awards at the closing ceremony.
Maia Papava, Lela Natobishvili, Maka Gaprindashvili, Ana Davlasheridze, Ia Gogoladze, Marina Spitari and representative of Gali district received awards as Leader Women. The male participant of the project Gela Tedeevi was awarded for his contribution in advocating women's issues.
