On April 11, Women's Information Center hosted Ana Kordzaia-Samadashvili's public lecture 'War and Women's Faces in Literature' at Generator 9.8. The lecture was followed by an award ceremony of the winners of WIC's competition dedicated to the International Women's Day with the support of PASHA Bank. The competition “Women’s Status in Georgia Through the Eyes of Youth” has three winners in three different nominations.
In the nomination “Best analytical article”, first place was awarded to Tamar Qviladze, second- Nana Miqeladze and third to Khatia Kaishauri. In the nomination “Best blog”, first place was awarded to Iveta Gogava, second- to Ana Fantsulaia and third to Madonna Aratanashvili and Khatia Airadze. Special award was given to Salome Saginaishvili for "Best tale”.
The public lecture was held within the framework of WIC’s project “Empowered Women for Peace and Development” with the support of United States Agency for International Development. |
