Psychosomatic Disorders among Domestic Violence Victims, Georgia

Georgian NGO “Sapari – a violence-free family” has organized in Tbilisi presentation of “Psychosomatic aspects of Domestic Violence. Problems and Achievements” report.
The presentation was attended by representatives of State and non-governmental institutions, international funds and journalists.

The report dealt with psychosomatic and social aspects of domestic violence problem. It emphasized the problem of psychosomatic disorders among victims and perpetrators and specific nature of their recuperation. Recommendations on domestic violence counteracting and Domestic Violence Law implementation were also discussed.
