Azerbaijani President confirms National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking (2009-2013)

President Ilham Aliyev issued an order to confirm the National Action Plan of Azerbaijan Republic to Combat Human Trafficking (2009-2013).

President’s press service told APA that the aim of the order is to continue measures to combat human trafficking, improve normative legal base and institutional mechanisms and increase efficiency in the work of government agencies.

Under the order, Interior Ministry and the related executive bodies are to ensure implementation of measures shown in the National Action Plan.

The Cabinet of Ministers is to solve the related issues.
